3 cups self -rising flour (just use regular flour and add 3 tsp. baking powder.
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 pound strong cheddar cheese -grated
12 oz. beer

Directions:
stir beer and flour/sugar mix add 1/2 the grated cheese and stir again. Bake in a greased loaf pan at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top before baking.

Of course I would have a recipe including booze! It is excellent with homemade soup or chilli, if we are lucky enough to have any leftovers it is even good cold or toasted.
