Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 Tbs kosher or coarse salt
2 Tbs brown sugar
1 Tbs black pepper
1 Tbs garlic powder
1 Tbs dried basil
1 Tbs paprika
1 Tbs dried tarragon
1 fillet of salmon
1 cedar plank

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle a generous amount on salmon (approximately 1 tsp for every 12 oz. of meat) place remaining dry-rub in an airtight container for future use. I do this about 15 minutes before grilling time.
Soak cedar plank 20 minutes to 4 hours. Set salmon on plank then on the grill using low to medium heat. Close lid. Grilled fish is ready in 10-20 minutes. Plank will smoke lightly creating a rich aroma. Use a spray bottle of water to put out any flare-ups. Vegetables are good cooked this way also.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
A really nice presentation: place plank on a serving dish or cutting board. If the plank is not too charred, it can be re-used if desired.
