(4) 2 cups flour
(4) 2 T. sugar
(2) 1 T. Baking Powder
(1) 1/2 tsp salt
(6) 3 eggs, Separated, beaten lightly
(3) 1 1/2 cups milk
(1/2) 1/4 cup melted butter or oil
Note: ( ) these figures double the recipe

Sift dry ingredients together.
Beat egg yolks lightly. Mix in milk and oil. Add to dry ingredients and stir.
Beat egg whites stiff, fold into batter.
Bake in hot waffle iron to desired crispness.
makes 3 waffles. ( ) makes about 6 waffles.
Separating the egg yolk and whites makes the waffle raise more and thus is fluffier.
