2 1/2 lb. baby red potatoes diced small
1 qt. water
1 qt. milk
1 tsp. black pepper
3/4 c. flour
1/2 lb. bacon
1 jumbo onion, chopped
2-3 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 c. cream

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside. Saute bacon and onions. Heat milk, water, chicken bouillon, salt and pepper. Do not boil. In a separate pan, melt butter and add flour (called a roux). Allow to bubble and stir for 1 minute. While stirring heated milk mixture add roux. When thickened add potatoes. Add cream.
