1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. molasses

3/4 c. whole milk
2 eggs, beaten

3 c. flour
3/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda in hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Boil butter, white & brown sugar and molasses together. Pour into to mixing bowl and let cool for one hour.

Add milk and eggs to cooled molasses mixture.

Add the remaining dry ingredients; then add vanilla & soda and mix well.

Chill the dough.

Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400º for 8-10 minutes.

Frost with powdered sugar icing.
