1 stick of butter
1 lb walnuts or pecans
2 egg whites
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
cinnamon (to taste)


Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a large cookie sheet that has edges in a 200 degree oven...
Beat egg whites until firm and foamy..
Add vanilla, sugar, salt and cinnamon...
Fold in nuts..
Spread on top of melted butter...
Bake at 200 degrees turning with spatula every 20 minutes for approximately 1 1/2 hours until all the butter is absorbed.
