1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup cocoa
5 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. sale
1 cup boiling water
FILLING:
5 T floour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup confectionioners' sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1-1/2 tsps. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugars, shortening, eggs, sout milk, vanilla and cocoa. In separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and sald. Add flour mixture alternately with boiling water to the creamed mixture. Mix well. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet 1 teaspoonful at a time. Bake 5 mnutes at 450 degrees. Remove from sheet when slightly cool. For filling - cook milk and flour until becomes thick, cool and then whip togehter remaining ingredients and spread between cooled cookies.
