1 cup pumpkin
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 T baking powder
1 T soda
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup nuts
1 T cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cut shortening
1 cup granulated sugar
1 medium egg

Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar. Add pumpkin and egg. Add dry ingredients all at once - blend, stir in vanilla. Drop on greased, dusted cookie sheet. Bake 350 º, 12 - 15 minutes.
