2 lb. or 1 kg onions sliced
1-2 T. butter
salt & pepper
1 L hot water
2 beef bouillon cubes
small bag grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
First fix 2 lb. or 1 kg onions sliced and browned in 1-2 T. butter
salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 L hot water and 2 beef cubes. Cook about 20 minutes until onions are tender. Put pieces of dried bread in serving bowls and sprinkle with grated cheese then fill with onion soup.  Top with more grated cheese and put on oven broiler until cheese melts.
