1 whole chicken
4-5 potatoes
6-8 carrots
1 chopped onion
4-5 c. chicken broth
spices to taste (bay leaf or thyme etc)

Directions:
Directions:
Clean chicken whole or pieces. Put peeled potatoes in the bottom of the crook pot. Sprinkle with chopped onions. Place chicken on top of the potatoes top with cut peeled carrots. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Cover with chicken broth.   Cook low for 7-9 hours or high 4 hours.
