1/2 c. dried prunes
1/2 c. dried apricots
1/2 c. seedless raisins
3 c. cold water
2 large apples, sliced
2 fresh pears, sliced
1 stick cinnamon
8 oz. chopped dates
1 c. water
1 c. apple juice
1/2 c. orange juice
2 T. tapioca

Directions:
Directions:
Soak prunes, apricots and raisins an hour in cold water and juice. Add cinnamon, pears and apples. Simmer 15 minutes. Add dates & tapioca, bring to a boil; stir. Serve hot or cold. We always ate it warm.  You can add a dolup of whipped cream if you like.
