1 cup brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup smooth peanut butter

4 cups rice cereal
1 cup finely chopped walnuts

Topping:
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
3 T smooth peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter in a large saucepan. Heat and stir on medium until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to a boil. Boil for 1 min. Remove from heat. Add cereal and walnuts. Mix well. Press into greased foil-lined 9x13 pan
Topping:
Heat chocolate chips and peanut butter in microwaveable bowl, stirring often and using about a level 3 power setting. Do not over heat. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Cool. Remove squares from dish and remove foil. Cut into 54 squares.

These chewy and nutty squares have a creamy, rich topping of chocolate and peanut butter. Make ahead and store in freezer for unexpected guests.
