4 cups fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup pine nuts
2 garlic cloves
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients in blender. Blend until a paste forms, stopping often to push down basil. Add cheese and salt; blend until smooth. Transfer to a small bowl. Chill. Can be made 1 day ahead.
Pesto has many uses on pasta, crackers, pizza or bread to name a few.
