3 c. flour
1 T. baking powder
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 T. caraway seeds
1/2 c. raisins
1 slightly beaten egg
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder & soda, sugar, salt, and caraway seeds. Add egg to buttermilk & mix with dry ingredients. Mix in melted butter. Bake at 350 for 65-70 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Wrap in foil overnight for best flavor.
