3 eggs, separated
1/2 c. pumpkin
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
6 T. margarine, softened
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In small bowl, beat egg yolks until thick - 5 minutes. Gradually add sugar and beat well. Stir in pumpkin. Sift together baking powder, salt, flour, cinnamon, ground cloves; fold in egg mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into batter. Spread evenly into greased and floured wax paper lined 15 1/2 x 1/2 x 1 jelly roll pan. Bake at 350º for 14-18 minutes. Immediately loosen sides of cake. Invert onto towel, lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Remove wax paper. Starting from narrow end, roll cake in towel. Cool on wire rack. Unroll cake; spread with cream cheese filling. Combine cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and vanilla. Beat until well blended. spread over cooled, unrolled cake role. Freezes well. Slice when partially thawed.
