3 tbsp. sugar
6 tsp. salt
3 packs dry yeast
12 c. flour
3/4 c. water
2-1/4 c. mashed potatoes
2-1/4 c milk
2/3 c. butter
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, salt, and yeast in large bowl.

Heat mashed potatoes, milk, water and butter to 120 degrees. With mixer on low, add liquids to dry. Add eggs and beat on medium two minutes, then add 2 cups of flour. Beat another two minutes.

On a well-floured board, knead in three cups of flour for 10 minutes. Shape the dough and place in a greased, cover bowl. Let the dough double (about an hour).

Punch down dough on floured board and cover for 15 minutes. Put back in greased bowl, and cover until it doubles again (about an hour).

Roll dough into 3/4" ropes, shape and fry.
