2 tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
4 c. peaches
1 c. milk
pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to 375. Put butter in 1-quart dish and place in oven.

When butter softens, spread it on bottom and sides of dish.

Prepare the batter, and pour into buttered dish. Lay peaches over the batter and bake 45-60 minutes. Batter rises through the fruit to make a brown crust.
