3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350. Thoroughly blend shortening, sugar, egg, corn syrup and vanilla. Gently stir in allspice, cinnamon, and baking soda. Grease cookie sheet. Roll dough into size of large pecans. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. While still warm, dip or roll into powdered sugar.
