3 cups cooked wild rice
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 cup diced cooked ham
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup sliced celery
1 quart half-and-half
1 1/4 cup chicken broth
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 tbsp butter, melted
1 1/2 or to taste cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions and celery in 1 tbsp butter until tender. Add all other ingredients except flour, remaining butter and cheddar cheese. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through. In small bowl stir together flour and remaining melted butter, stir into soup. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally until thickened. Add cheddar cheese.
