2 pounds beef cut into 1 inch cubes
2 medium onions, sliced
1/2 cup thick sour cream
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons grated cheese
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Roll meat in seasoned flour, brown in hot fat. Add onion. Combine cream, water and cheese. Pour over meat. Cover tightly and cook slowly until tender, about 2 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.

You don't necessarily need to add the cheese. Doesn't seem to add much. If cooked on top of the stove watch closely or it may burn. Does fine in the oven. Don't let it get too dry, add water as needed.
