unbaked pie crust in a 9" pan
6-8 large very ripe pears
3/4 cup sugar
3 T lemon juice
3 T quick cooking Tapioca


Streusel Topping
1 cup oatmeal
1/3 cup brown sugar
6 T melted butter







Directions:
Directions:
Peel, core and slice the pears, Toss with sugar, lemon juice and Tapioca in large bowl until well coated. Pile high in unbaked pie shell.

To prepare streusel topping mix ingredients together in small bowl, sprinkle over top of pie.

Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Cover pie with foil. Bake 45 minutes or until pears are tender. Remove foil and bake 5 minutes longer to crisp topping. Cool and refrigerate.
