salmon, cut in pieces
1 onion sliced
1/2 cup water
1 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
2 bay leaves
8 cloves
Directions:
Directions:
1. in a pot on the stove, layer onion slices
2. place salmon over onions
3. cover with water
4. add vinegar and sugar
5. bring to a boil,
6. add bay leaves and cloves and boil for 5 more
minutes

serve cold
