1 9" unbaked pastry shell
1 lb. fresh asparagus, in 1" pieces,
cooked to tender
6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. half & half
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 T. green onions, sliced
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Line unpricked pastry shell with double layer of aluminum foil. Bake at 450º for 5 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 minutes more.

Arrange asparagus, green onions, and bacon over crust. In blender, mix eggs, half & half, 1/2 c. cheese, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour over asparagus. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake at 400º for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º and bake an additional 23-25 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean.
