5 lb chuck roast partially frozen(2 hours in freezer)
1 large bag extra wide noodles
3 beef boullion cubes or 4 tbsp liquid beef boullion
1 small yellow onion finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1 tbsp parsely
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
2 pinches of sugar

Cut the roast into 1/2 inch squares.(Partially frozen meat is easier to cut into cubes.) Place meat into large pot along with all ingredients except noodles. Use enough water to keep all well covered and cook on medium low for at least 3 hours. Check the meat for tenderness and cook longer if needed. Increase temperature to add noodles and cook them as to the specs on the package. Serve hot.

This recipe is good over mashed potaoes or as a stand alone meal. My dad loved this and I find it a good comfort food.
