Shelly's Greek Salad Recipe

1 1/2 head Romaine --- lettuce torn into small pieces
4 large tomatoes --- sliced
1 cucumber --- cut in thin slices. Do not peel.
1 green pepper --- cut finely in thin stripes
1 large onion --- finely sliced
1 c. hard feta cheese
24 Kalamata olives
1 tbsp. Oregano
1 tsp. thick salt
Approximately 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
Approximately 1'4 c. white wine vinegar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper

1. In a large mixing bow, combine the vegetables, olives and cheese.
2. In a small mixing bowl, blend together the Oregano, salt, olive oil, vinegar lemon juice and pepper.
3. Pour over salad just before serving.
