5 c. Quick Cooking Rolled Oats
1 c. Almonds, slivered
1 c. Walnuts or Pecans, chopped
1 c. Coconut, flaked or shredded
1/2 c. Sesame Seeds
1/2 c. Sunflower Seeds, shelled
1/2 c. Wheat Germ
1 T. ground Cinnamon
2/3 c. Oil
2/3 c. Honey or Maple Syrup
1 tsp. Vanilla

Lightly grease a large roasting pan. Combine rolled oats, nuts, coconut, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, wheat germ and cinnamon. In a small saucepan, combine oil and honey or syrup. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until heated through and combined. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Drizzle oil mixture over dry ingredients and toss to coat. Place in pan. Bake at 325º for 40 - 45 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool. Store in tightly covered jars or bags. Use in two weeks or place in freezer. Serve with milk or yogurt.

This is my typical breakfast. I never buy granola as this is so much better, healthy and tasty.
