Directions:
Spray work surface with cooking spray. Combine 8 dinner rolls into a ball and roll into a 16 x 6 inch rectangle. Repeat with remaining rolls. Cover and let rest. In large bowl, combine apples, caramels and 1/2 cup almonds, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Spread half of apple mixture down the center of each rectangle. Fold both edges of each over the filling, overlapping slightly, pinch to seal. Place rectangles side by side, seamside down, on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Carefully twist them together. Pinch ends to seal. Cover with plastic wrap coated with spray, let dough rise for 15-20 minutes. Remove wrap. Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pan to cool on wire rack. Prepare icing and drizzle over cooled twist. Sprinkle with remaining almonds. Serve warm.

I leave out the almonds. Could use cream cheese frosting instead of drizzle.
