1 stick margarine
2 cups sugar
½ cup milk
4 Tbs. cocoa (heaping)
dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ cup peanut butter
3 cups of old fashioned oatmeal.

Directions:
Directions:
Boil first five ingredients for one minute (start timing when it first starts to boil). Add the vanilla, peanut butter, and oatmeal and mix well.

Drop by the spoonful onto wax paper and let harden, or just eat it soft!!

This is a classic Shrigley cookie, one that as children we used to love to make with Grandma because it was something that we could pretty much make on our own and tasted soo good!
