6 slices white bread
butter or margarine to spread
6 eggs
2 c. half and half
1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese - shredded
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Remove crust from bread and spread with butter or margarine.
Cook sausage by browning and drain grease.
Beat together eggs, half and half, and salt.
In a 15.5 x 10" baking dish layer bread slices, sausage, cheese, and egg mixture (in this order). Cover and chill overnight.
Bake uncovered in a 350º oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Cut into squares and serve.
