2 day old biscuits
sugar to taste
1 t. vanilla flavoring
milk to achieve consistency desired
1/2 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
Adjust amount of ingredients per amount of old bread you have.

Tear biscuits into small pieces, lay in pan. Sprinkle sugar over bread and cover with hot water, let set for 1/2 hour. Mash up bread & water, add vanilla flavoring. Add milk, this should be the consistency of pancake batter. Melt butter, stir; add some of hot mixture to beaten egg, mix. Add all ingredients together. Bake in 350 oven, when bubbles began to appear around edges, take out of oven, stir; put back in oven. If chocolate pudding is desired you can add 2 tbsp. cocoa to mixture before baking.
