1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup canned solid-packed pumpkin
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
2/3 cup light corn syrup
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup pecan halves
1 pie shell, unbaked

Directions:
Directions:
For pumpkin layer add egg, pumpkin, sugar and pie spice and spread over pie shell. For pecan layer combine corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla. Stir in pecans and spoon over pumpkin. Bake at 350º for 50 minutes. Cool and serve with whip cream with a light sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon.
