1/4 c Butter, 1 Medium Onion (chopped), 8 oz. Mushrooms (chopped), 1/4 c Flour, 1 tsp Salt, 1/4 tsp Pepper, 1 c Cooked Wild Rice, 4 oz. Cream Cheese (cubed), 2 c Chicken Broth, 12 oz. Can Evaporated Milk, Chicken (cubed & cooked)

Melt butter in 4 qt. sauce pan over medium heat. Add onion and mushrooms; saute until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Whisk in broth. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 10 minutes. Stir in milk and rice. Add chicken. Stir in cheese. Cook and stir until melted and soup is thoroughly heated.
