4 cups Sugar
1 lg. can Evaporated Milk
1/2 cup Margarine (1 stick)
Pinch Salt
½ cup Nuts, if desired
12oz.pkg Chocolate Chips
1 pt.jar Marshmallow Crème
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to rolling boil the first four ingredients, stirring constantly. Boil 5 more minutes (or 238 degrees).

Remove from heat and add the other ingredients.

Pour into a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan and cool.

Note: You may substitute 2 cups brown sugar (packed) for ½ of the sugar and omit the chocolate to make Penuche.
