2 cup Bisquick
1 cup 2% milk
2 egg whites, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp garlic powder
pinch paprika
assorted veggies:
fresh whole mushrooms, 1/4" slices of yellow squash, zucchini, green tomatoes, red-yellow-green or orange peppers
assorted hard cheeses: 1" cubes or 1/2" fingers
Swiss, Amercan, hot pepper or favorites

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in glass bowl. Keep mushrooms whole and prepare the rest of your favorite veggies and cheese. Pat dry all veggies. Pre-heat deep fryer to 400º. Coat the veggies and cheese with batter mixture and carfully place in fryer until golden brown. Drain onto paper towels. Can be served hot or cold.

Drying the veggies makes the batter hold better. Use your favorite dip. Ranch is The Beaver's favorite. Be careful these will be hot inside especially the cheese.
