1/3 cup White Vinegar
2/3 cup Water
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Sugar
5 Whole Peppercorns
1 Bay Leaf
8 oz white mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Clean mushrooms.
Put the water and vinegar in a sauce pan add the salt, sugar, peppercorns and bay leaf. Bring to a boil.

Add the mushrooms and simmer on low for 5 minutes.

Take pan off the heat and let cool. Transfer mushrooms with liquid to a glass container and refrigerate.
