3 lbs beef chuck or sirloin tip
2 cups and 2 oz tomato juice
1/3 cup chopped onions
4 tsp salt
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp chili powder
2 bay leaves
1 1lb can (2 cups) tomatoes, undrained
1 cup celery, diced
2 cups sliced carrots
1 cup medium size pasta shells
10 oz frozen lima beans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine meat, tomato juice,onion, seasonings and 6 cups water in soup kettle. Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Cut meat from bone in medium-size cubes. Strain broth and remove excess fat. Add meat and vegetables; cover and simmer 1 hour.
