Chocolate Pudding Recipe

Bertha Crawford -Story


1 c flour.
1/4 tsp salt.
3/4 c sugar.
2 tsp baking powder.
1 1/2 tbsp cocoa.
1/2 c milk.
2 tbsp melted butter.
1 tsp vanilla.
1/2 nut meats, chopped.
1 1/2 c sugar
6 tbsp cocoa.
2 c water.

Bake at 325

Sift together 1 c flour, salt, 3/4 c sugar,baking powder and 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa..Add 1/2 cup milk, butter, vanilla, and nuts. Pour this mixture into 9" square baking pan. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over mixture in baking pan. DO NOT STIR. Bake at 325. until cake part is done. This makes a pudding with its ready made sauce. Serve warm, alone. with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or whipped topping.
