5 or 6 sliced potatoes
butter
salt and pepper
flour
cream or milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º.

Place layer of potatoes in casserole dish. Dot with butter, salt and pepper. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of flour over potatoes. Repeat until all potatoes are used. Pour cream or milk over to cover. Place on foil lined cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour or until done...brown and bubbly.

These are known in the family as "Fire Potatoes" because as a young mother Lori let them run over in the oven a few times. Jonathon started asking for them by this name. One suggestion to keep them from flowing over is to allow a couple of inches from the top of the casserole. You can also put a cookie sheet to help.
