Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 cup quick oats,
1 1/2 cups boiling water-pour water over oats and stir.
Add: 1 stick oleo
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs

Mix, then add:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix together and bake in oblong pan for approx.. 45 minutes @ 350

Icing for cake

1 stick oleo
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups coconut
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup chopped or ground pecans (optional) I use 1 cup.
Cook above ingredients together for 2 minutes and pour over cake while still warm. Broil for 2 minutes or until lightly browned.
