Barbecued Burgers Recipe

1 C ketchup
1/2 C brown sugar
1/3 C sugar
1/4 C honey
1/4 C molasses
2 tsp mustard
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp liquid smoke
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 C BBQ sauce
1 egg, beaten
1/3 C quick cooking oats
1/4 tsp onion salt
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
6 hamburger buns

In a small saucepan combine first 10 sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Mix burger ingredients and form into 6 patties. Grill, basting with sauce last 5 minutes.

Our favorite way to eat these is with bacon and pepper jack cheese served with extra sauce on the side.
