10 carrots, peeled & chopped
3 medium turnips, peeled & chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 T butter
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Cook carrots & turnips until fork-tender. Drain. Add carrots, turnips and remaining ingredients to baking dish, and bake at 350ºF until heated thru (about 10 minutes)

TIP: I chop the carrots and turnips about the same size so they'll cook in the same amount of time.
