Cast iron skillet
Fresh corn scraped from ears (8-10)
milk the cob (scrape cob until juice comes out of it.)
bacon grease; left over fried chicken fat; butter---fat of choice

Fry corn in which ever fat you have chosen until crispy.

Grandma Huckleby only makes fried corn after she has fried chicken; this way she can use the fat with the little chicken bits in it.
