1 package dried onion soup
2 C water
6 pork chops

Directions:
Directions:
Combine soup mix and water, and simmer 5 mins. Arrange pork chops in single layer in large shallow baking dish. Ladle onion soup over chops. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 1/2 hrs.

Serves 3

***I serve this with baked potatoes, applesauce, and Green Beans Amandine (a fancy name for sprinkling sliced almonds on top of green beans).

This came from a book I purchased in the 1960's, Saucepans and the Single Girl. It's still one of my favorite cookbooks. This recipe is easy and my family loves it.
