Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 Cup plus 3 Tbls. Sugar
1 ½ Sticks butter, room temp.
1 ½ Cups crushed pretzels
1-8oz pkg Phil. Cream cheese
1 Carton Cool Whip, large or medium
1-6 oz strawberry Jello
2-10 oz packages frozen strawberries thawed

Directions:
Directions:
With mixer cream 3 Tbls sugar and butter. Add crushed pretzels (rolling pin works well) and mix well. Press in 9X13 pan. Bake for 350 degrees for 10 min. Cool. Combine cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Cream until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over pretzel mix. Dissolve Jello in 2 cups boiling water. Add ½ Cup cold water, then strawberries. Chill until partially congealed then spread over cream cheese layer. Chill until firm. (Takes awhile to chill, overnight is best; or you can speed it up in the freezer for a while.) Recipe calls for large container cool whip, I used the medium sized one and that was also fine.
