1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup shortening
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 cup oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Add the oatmeal and mix. Cream the brown sugar, peanut butter and shortening together. Mix together with the dry ingredients. Mixture will be crumbly. Pour into shallow pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. While still warm, frost with the following frosting:
Cook until thick 1/4 cup cream and 2 Tablespoons cocoa. Then add enough powdered sugar and combine for right spreading consistency.
