Peach Butter Recipe

2 cups Sugar

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Rinse ripe peaches.
3. Drop in a pot of boiling water until skin splits.
4. Plunge in ice water until skin removes easily.
5. Peel.
6. Cut in half and discard pits.
7. Cut off bad spots.
8. Cut in smaller pieces and put through food processor.
9. Combine 3 cups of peach puree and 2 cups sugar.
10. Cook in preheated oven 4 hours covered (or on top of outdoor gas stove-very low.)
11. Put hot peach butter in hot sterilized jars.
12. Seal and ring.
13. Turn upside down for 15 mins then right side up.
14. Check seals.
