Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 1/3 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
vegetable oil
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, milk and eggs in a bowl; stir until smooth. Heat oil in a large skillet. Technically, you should pour the batter through a funnel and let it run into the oil, making a circular motion. It is easier to put the batter into a pitcher and slowly pour a thin stream of batter into the hot oil, moving the pitcher in a circular motion. When the cake has browned on one side, carefully turn it over and brown the other side. This doesn't take long to cook. When you take it out, put it on a paper towel to drain Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot. This batter does not keep well so use it up.
