1 lb hamburger
1-2 tsp. chili powder (to taste)
1 qt. blended whole tomatoes (add 2 Tb flour while blending for thickening)
1 Tb. dehydrated onion or 1/4 cup fresh chopped

Brown hamburger and add other ingredients. Let simmer until ready to serve. Serve with homemade corn tortillas (see recipe in breads section). Layer tortilla, meat sauce, tortilla, meat sauce, then top with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, fresh chopped tomatoes

The tortillas can be made ahead and frozen. The meat sauce freezes well also. My boys even took it to scout overnight camps on occasion.
