1/3 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
3 tsp minced garlic
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
3 Tbs chopped fresh parsley
2/3 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
2/3 cup currants

Directions:
Directions:
In small bowl, combine olive oil, basil and garlic. In large bowl cream softened cream cheese and add oil mixture. Blend well. Stir in parsley, walnuts and currants. Chill. Best if prepared several hours in advance so that the flavors may blend. Serve with crackers and an appetizer.
