1 stick margarine
1 cup flour
1/2 cup pecans (chopped)
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 tbsp. cornstarch
2 cups water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese (softened)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
1 qt. strawberries (stemmed & sliced)

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: Melt margarine in a pyrex or 9x13 pan. Add flour & pecans. Pat down. Bake at 350º until light brown (approx. 15 minutes). Let cool.
Glaze: Mix together in sauce pan; sugar & cornstarch. Add water. Stir & boil until clear. Add strawberry jello. Take off heat. Stir until dissolved. Cool.
Filling: Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add powdered sugar. Beat. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust. Coat strawberries with glaze. Put on top of filling.
Refrigerate. Cut into squares to serve.
